"The deposit is a volcanogenic massive sulphide [VMS] and contains high grade silver , lead and zinc ,in addition to the copper. Deposits of this type usually occur in groups and may vary in size from a few hundred thousand , to tens of millions of tonnes." This property may contain over a billion dollars worth of copper in high grade ore, is well advanced and could be put into production within a year. (speculation, not proved yet). The present estimated resource is 309,000 tons of 13% copper ore yielding 40,000 tons of copper metal. The target is to expand this to 300,000 tons of copper to be produced at the rate of 30,000 tons per year for 10 years. There is a substantial potential to further increase this amount if the 4 near surface lobes are joined together deeper down.
